Hiding Brightness…

The subtle law can be observed.

When a thing is going to fold,

it spreads and stretches excessively.

When a thing is going to be weak,

it strengthens itself tremendously.

When a thing is going to be finished,

it becomes too prosperous.

When a thing is going to be taken away,

it gets more than it needs.

These are subtle signs of the subtle law

that can be observed.

By attaining this knowledge,

the weak and the soft,

the gentle and the affable,

can overpower the strong and the tough.

The formed life cannot leave the support

of its unformed subtle life energy,

just as a fish cannot live out of water.

When the principle of gentleness is forsaken,

you will find your life unguarded.

“This will be about you,” about the things that happen generally, in flash – or short fiction – to match a reader’s style while surfing internet sites.  It may contain a poem or a quotes, or their choice of literary form in comments, from friends and family.  There are many writers in the families interconnected through this blog, whom may, as they are inspired, allow their work to appear.

Let’s give credit to the facilitator:  Thank you, Alex.

“It is easy enough to be pleasant
When life flows along like a song
But the man worthwhile
Is the man who can smile
When life goes dead wrong.”

I’d like to let some, or all, of the best writers have their say too.  The way they write, they often bend the rules just so, and distinguish themselves greatly.

The wonderful spontaneous writing going on online, everywhere, entertains me so often, I write less often, more often reading and correcting.  In fact, only small things that get in the way of some great voices – their own P’s and Q’s – punctuation and spelling.

So, now I’d like to forget distracting errors in favor of smoothing and polishing; because, if you enjoy yourself, while reading your stories, you’ll wish them written well.
